Less scrolling. More cooking.Watch it work
Tap Share, then Cooked. It reads the caption, the page or the video, finds a cover photo and writes the steps out properly. Keep scrolling while it works.

Cooked is reading it and writing a clean recipe.

How it works
From Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Safari or Photos, tap Share and pick Cooked. No copying links, no switching apps.
Ingredients with real amounts, steps in order, and a cover photo. Rambling captions and life stories are left out.
Change the servings, send it to a grocery list sorted by aisle, then follow along step by step with timers.
What it reads
Videos, captions, carousels, blogs and the cookbook on your shelf.
Servings
Every amount rescales and rounds to something you can actually measure. Spices and seasonings marked with a sparkle stay put, so a bigger batch doesn’t end up twice as hot.
Try it. These are the amounts from the butter chicken above.
✦Chilli stays the same at any size. Taste, then add more if you like.
Inside the app

One tidy shelf, filtered by ingredient or cuisine.

Amounts rescale as you tap.

Several recipes, one list, duplicates merged.

Big type, one step at a time, timers built in.

When one doesn’t work
Some posts don’t have a recipe in them at all. Cooked says so, rather than inventing one. Share a different link to the same dish, or a screenshot of the recipe, and try again.

No. There’s no sign-up. On iPhone your recipes sync across your devices with iCloud.
Yes, on iPhone. Send an invite link and you share one set of recipes and one grocery list.
Your saved recipes, servings, groceries and cook mode all work without a connection. Saving a new recipe needs one.
Try sharing the original website instead of the video, or a screenshot of the recipe card. Cooked keeps the link to the source on every recipe so you can always check.
